This was different than the storage lag issue. This was trying to log in and sitting on the server select screen for 5 - 10 minutes before the character select screen showed up and then sitting on the character select screen another 5 - 10 minutes before you are logged into the game.
And then, once in the game when I tried to sell drops to Kenton it was a good 2-5 minutes from the time I clicked to sell before the item left my pocket and the copper was added. So the entire process of selling two stacks of bones and one stack of master commander badges took about 30 minutes.
