I think this auction house is going to make life a HELL lot easier.
No more can sellers say that they aren't going to sell if the price isn't high enough. If the price isn't high enough, don't start pricing it so damn low. This has been one of my pet peeves. By offering an item up for sale and not stating a minimum price or stating one that is low to begin with, the seller is obligated to sell. If you want to know how much your item is worth, that's what an appraisal is for.
At the same time, the auction system will hopefully prevent buyers from reneging on their bids. Also a pet peeve. -.-
Some assumptions going into how the in-game marketplace is going to work. But those are two very basic concepts.
