So...I'm in echo cave, I try to log in, I see my character and hear the music for a few seconds. The music then skips for a couple seconds, and the program shuts down.
I remember this "Echo Cave Bug" has been there, albeit rare, since at least CB2. unfortunately, the things I heard of it were of a bad nature. like characters being lost because of it.
Are you able to gain control at all? if so, you could try using a return scroll as fast as possible... and then never go to echo cave again xD
The game freezes up right when I get on...I can't do anything. I'll report this bug, see if someone can just teleport my character back to town or something.

Get hold of Dakkon he can town teleport you, he did it to me when cheating in hide and seek rofl
