maybe make creating new pages for only specific people, like FF Mods + Wiki Admins... + anyone else who we know and trust and needs the ability to create new pages...

most of the time we only need to edit existing page anyway.. right?

I don't think I have ever dealt with advertisement from registered users. That's why limiting the ability to create new pages will save an admin a lot of grief in the future. However, limiting editing rights to registered users will simply deter contributors who are a little lazy. Upon further inspection, I also noticed that it is this very group of unregistered genuine editors that tend to make many subsequent minor edits following the first one, therefore throttling their edits will see contribution from this group dwindle

If I click on "http://www.fiestafan/forums/" in my address bar on accident, naturally it will show up on my activity log. Firefox 3.0 is stupid, I don't know why I listened to you and upgraded.

You can ask a forum admin if I was active more than once during that time period, or an accidental click and subsequent 30 minute period of inactivity.
