The thread probably doesn't need to be stickied to get people's attention. Enough people respond to it with a "I'll be there" and will be at the top of the general threads list... and there's also the option of bumping (all those double [triple, quadruple] posts irk me when I go to official forums).

And I don't know about others but I usually skip stickied threads unless I'm looking for some technical assistance and/or in-game help...

I thought to myself you've got to be kidding me when I saw that birthday topic stickied. If some random Fiesta player gets their birthday topic sticked why can't everyone else?

This is why we all go up and ask for our birthday threads to be stickied! Now, which month has the most birthdays??

Yeah, I personally don't think it should have been stuck. But one CL rule is to not act against another CL without talking to them. Basically... if one CL stickies something, I can't just unstick it.

You can talk to them about this then? I reckon it's worth talking about. I mean, I can see what's gonna happen if everyone starts asking for their bday threads to get stickied. It's better to get it unstickied now than to change the rule later after this bday bash happens to prevent favouritism screaming all over the place? D: I can imagine people going "But she got her thread stickied! Now you're changing the rule?" Kind of thing.


Unless countless birthday stickies are accepted on the Outspark forums.
