It might be Vista. I just bought a new laptop on Wednesday August 6 and Fiesta works fine on wireless on that laptop but my Vista makes it exit out of Fiesta if I am on for over 15 minutes then it freezes and crashes. All I have is my Microsoft Office 2003 and my itunes and songs. Scanned no viruses. It might be your vista like my vista is the problem for my error. I ran Fiesta on my old laptop with 54mbps and it runs perfectly fine except when I go to town or when my brother downloads.

The thing is that Vista takes up a heck of a lot of RAM or whatever it is that it takes up.
If you're running on Windows Vista Aero, change it to Vista basics and see if the games runs any better. Also, if you have the sidebar out, exit out of it as well...

Thanks for the sidebar advice.
I guess it's also map lag as well; I don't lag as much in Eld as I do in Dark Passage I or Abyss, surprisingly. Yesterday I lagged hell in Eld and was fine in Dark Passage and Abyss XD

Maps definitely has something to do with the lag. For me I'm fine in dungeons (-holds on to abyss/trumpy remains-) but I can't handle CP or AEW for some reason...

Its probably just the connection. I have wireless on my good computer and when i tried running most of my games, I would experience a like a 2 second lag in which the screen would pause then fast forward to catch up to normal game speed. There shouldnt be anything wrong with your computer, just that any game no matter what the reqs, shouldn't be played under wireless conditions. There will always be lag with wireless. When I switched back to using my ethernet cable, all my games ran perfectly smooth. With wireless (54mbs) I had a ping of about 60, but when I switched back to ethernet (100mbs), my ping dropped down to around 20.

I used to play on dial-up, so you don't need a superfast connection to be able to play.

I believe it to be your router and laptop. You could try a few things, if your in an area where you don't have to worry about encryption as much, you could change your encryption from 128bit to 64bit. You could also adjust the Firewall setting within your router to put your Laptop in a DMZ (demilitarized zone kinda), this will put your laptop outside of the firewall and makes it vulnerable to malicious incoming requests. As far as your laptop goes, making sure you don't have a bunch of programs requesting to use the network all the time is a key factor. You can run Sandra by SiSoftware and do network tests to see what could be slowing you down and it can tell you what you can turn off to optimize. Defrag, even if it says you don't have to. Most importantly, read up on setting up you Pagefile correctly so you are using your memory to it's full potential and not paging to much info when Fiesta is using 900megs D: .
In the end, it could just be that 54mbs isn't fast enough. It's not for me.
