Yeah, I'm not exactly surprised with the amount. Playing another version of Fiesta you can easily get 2-3g overnight selling return scrolls. And the level 70+ stuff already cost over 1g in that game.

And... yeah, not that hard to get money anymore even if you don't do the enhancing services, etc. :P

Meh, I'm a lvl 38 cleric with ~300s made purely by selling Tier 2 Elrues - more than enough for my level needs.

^Yeah That's what I did too. I like people who are selling t3 scrolls for 10s+ a piece saying they're poor on their shop name.
