Quick question about empowering Fatal Slash... can't seem to find this answer anywhere on the internets maybe someone can help. When empowering "Skill's Basic Power" is the added damage increased, or the defense debuff increased?

IF you increase the power, the damage the mob takes when the hit connects is increased, not the amount the defense is decreased by. You can only increase the debuff strength by upgrading the skill.


You can lengthen how long the debuff stays by enpowering effect time.
