Hm... this is why I'm always in Hide Mode while going through towns.
There was one person who asked, somewhat, politely for money to buy his armor because he lost money through enhancing. Which in my opinion is his own fault but I gave him money anyway. Then he had the nerve to ask me again to buy his weapon... and kept on begging.
