Yeah, all of that is included. There are lotsa areas in biotech.. like food biotech, agricultural biotech, marine biotech, medical biotech, antibody engineering etc.

Our first few lectures in this subject consisted of learning how to make bread, cheese, and alcohol. O_O Boring as.

My parents make bread every week. They stick stuff like raisins and walnut and flax seed.

I think the raisins are OK but the walnuts are... not very good.

(Just in case your professors didn't teach you that~~)
