Epith players toward Mages...:/, pisses me off

Lmao I was asked to buff by a guildmate in Apoline. I was clearly an Archer... >P (You know, if my green armour and bow wasn't obviously enough... and yeh)

Actually Epith does have some nice people. I've met some good friends there who whisper me time to time and see what's up. Didn't get that while in Apoline. I think it's those who have already capped or are close to doing so are the nicer bunch of the population.

But yeh, playing my Mage... I can tank Marlone/Mara better than any Fighter in Mara KQ yet Clerics think I'm just attacking close like an idiot. I'm taking damage here, HEAL me for goodness sake. Yeah. I know I'm wearing a defense Menian and that is the only reason I have higher def than the Fighters but... if the boss isn't looking at the Fighters, heal the one they're looking at. D<

They wouldn't care even if you had a Menian underwear, they all think mages can't tank and they already have nasty impressions of them. As for the archers, they all quarrel on who pulls the real bosses. Idiots -sigh- it's a game FFS, let the Serodin pull >=O

epith players think Mages can't do anything
they think they cant:
1. tank
2. kite(WTF!!Mages are suppose to kite if possible!! *shoots noobs*)
3. AoE(WTF!!Mages are the only good AoE class!! *shoots noobs again*)
4. Solo(Wow..don't need to explain this *shoots more noobs*)
5. Party(Wtf..if I can't solo or party, how do I play? Players told me i can't party with them because I am mage that can't really do anything in parties)
5. be a DD(*shoots noobs again..* Mages are DDs!)
6. Few cleric think of this only, Mages don't deserve buff or heal, they die too easily because they have no meat to tank or get hit.(*snipes those clerics*)
7. Mages can't pull, only archers can(Failed many many Mara KQs because there's no archer to "pull", mages can also pull, they attack as far as archers, oops, forgot to shoot noobs, so..*shoots noobs*)

yes..Epith enrages me a lot..I am still in there because of Loveless is still in there

Well archers are good in AoEing too ya know... And yeah I made the right decision, I was planning on making a mage for my main on Epith. But seeing what viasta just listed down made me

so what now, mages are useless and shouldn't do anything but just stand there until Charismatic Mara wipes everyone out? WTF... Mages can pull too, archers have longest range by like a meter but does it even matter? When it comes to dire situations when a ranged attacker must pull?

Yes, Mages are "useless" in Epith, that's why there's like none. I only met 2 mages that could actually do what mages do, other mages I met are..well..noobs that leeches nonstop and stand there and does nothing.

During my Slime KQ days I'd go into 2 when possible. Players there knew I could tank... so I did just that. I'm still squishy but I know how to kite/tank the King Slime. It's all about technique with low level KQs and not so much your def/HP. >D

That one KQ I had been buffed by a random Cleric... so I had waaaay more HP to take the hits from Mara. But yeah, no heal and just pots/stones that do not heal a Mage's HP by too much = death.
