righty, did you answer me in the feedback thread, about the flyffworld thing? (sorry offtopic)

uhm, on topic..

Speaking from an outsider point of view, I will try sum up what I think booyah might feel, and some of what I do also.

Its really hard to feel totally free here, when its so overrun by one group of people who band together. If you do or say something that one or two of them don't like, the whole pack will be at your throat with wall of text replies, to tell you how wrong you are.

Its hard to be able to be yourself at times, even, or discuss osmething serious because if it involves one of the "pack", epsecially with all the mods in that guild, its hard to feel like your case is being justified or balanced, since like it was said before to me when I disagreed, guild members support each other and agree with each other.

So it feels like there would be some discrimination, even if it wasn't intended, and other people might feel cornred by that in a sense.

At least, that's what I think.

Well it isn't like its false... Look at the top posters (not as bad as it was about two months ago, but still pretty noticeable), top reps, mods, that's all I can think of right now, yeah, it kinda says it all. I'd say GG is pretty influential, what with all mods (Hai Eighty... You count?) being members. Yeah, yeah, yeah, let's not bring up the whole "we're just a guild of friends" thing again.

Personally, if this forum had a lot more active people, I don't think it would be that much of an ordeal. But since that's not the case, and probably won't be for a long, long time, possibly getting some other mods who aren't "part of the pack" might work...and not having the current mods select them, but entropy himself.

(Because player vote will lean towards popularity, it always does, and the current mods are all GG)

Though there is nothing that can be done about being cornered in that sense.

But for the most party, it's NOT a G__G vs the rest of the world split.

It's just not.

There are these groups of people with similar ideologies who tend to respond in a similar way but the groups aren't always made up of the same people every time nor do they always respond to a situation the same way every time.

Well this is a small community, not much variety no matter how we look at it. And there may be a lack in people the mods find "qualified" to be a mod. Full, blahs, and Righty have been active here since CB1 I think? I've been on here since CB2, Spirit, CB2 also I believe. Not saying the time we've spent on here qualifies us. But we've learned how things work around here, and we also showed traits that would make good mod material.
