If you're going to play a game thats obviously meant for English speakers, you should obviously know English before playing, and if you do, you shouldn't be speaking another language on it, just as respect for the other players. If you don't know how to speak English, you shouldn't play the game.

This is always a big issue with NA games because they dont issue ip bans to non-english speaking countries. Everyone notices how games from Brazil, Japan and other countries that predominately speak one languages automatically issue ip bans to keep the other languages out. NA Companies don't do this because they are greedy and want to get as much money out of the game as they can. I think that if you can't speak english it should be like Japanese games where all a player has to do is report you and your account is banned. I don't have a problem at all with other cultures I just dont think its fair for us to have to deal with it.
When we go play other countries games we are expected to behave a certain way and keep our language*english* in private chats. Why are the same rules that apply to us not good enough for them? Why do other cultures expect special treatment in our games when we are not given it in theirs? I could keep doing this forever but until a company really takes a stand on this we will continue to be abused in our own games ^.^.
@Centrix like Angellic said proof or it did'nt happen. I dont think many players put much stock into what the CL's say after the way we see you behave in game and on the forums ^.^.

Its because America doesn't really have "culture". We're a melting pot, so we can't say we're "American" because thats not really a cuture, America is only a few hundred years old, not old compared to most. We can't say America is "Italian" or "Irish" or "African" because there is no set culture here. But countries like Japan can say they are Japanese, Koreans can say they're Korean, because that is their race an culture. So if they make a game and want to limit it, they can without worrying about people in their country complaining.
America can't do that since we have a bunch of different races and languages, in which they can just complain and get into legal issues if they feel discriminated.

I don't totally agree with that. We have our own dialect or dialects of the english language. We may have many different sub cultures which have their own styles and way of speaking but we are still a *culture*. You maybe Caucasian*maybe mispelled*, African American or Asian-American but the keyword in all that is we are American. Koreans , Japanese and Africans differ in culture from town to town or *state* same as we do. If you goto Africa no two villages will speak the same dialect its the same here. So why are we not a culture o.0?

I meant more in a heritage sence. You can say you have Irish blood in you, or Italian, Greek, etc, but you can't exactly say you have American blood in you, because really, nobody knows what you mean by that. I could say I have American blood in me, but I'm Irish, German, and Scottish, then Spirit could say shes got American blood in her, but she may be French, Italian, and Polish (I don't know Spirits heritage). My point being... America is a culture, but it technically isn't, if you get what I mean. We have to satisfy many cultures in one, while most other countries are dominantly one culture.
So... in American, we have many cultures, many people who speak different languages. We believe in freedom and equality, so we have to be able accommodate our entire country. While Korea... probably 99% of that country is Korean and speak Korean, their laws are most likely stricter than ours, so they can do as they please, and that includes not allowing non-Koreans play the game.

I agree there is something referred to as an "American culture" but I think that is generically used to refer to a U.S. culture more so than an "American" culture, because, think about it, America is South America, Central America (Falcomist's adversaries I believe) and North America, which encompasses the U.S & Canada.
And, the French-Canadians speak French, which means that language is part of the North American culture.
And, truth be told, the native language of the US was not English in the beginning, so this is basically an argument that could go on for ages.
Maybe I should have said English should be the "official" language on the NA server since American is too broad a term and North America is truly a melting pot of those from true true true Native American heritage and those whose families migrated here since.

I dont think a petition would work to get someone unbanned. But it's worth a try, GMs probably won't unban him. There's no good enough reason to unban anyone in any game
