I prefer bows for looks, xbow for atk power & crit. I've only used an xbow since level 20 (just picked it at first to try it out). I do carry bows with me cause I find a lot of crappy onces :/ I only switch to them when I'm bored because of of it.
I don't know if speed matters to me, haven't used a bow seriously in awhile. Never had a problem with xbow's speed either really, but maybe cause I can take hits (I rarely kite)? Or maybe it's the xbows I'm using. *shrugs* o-o
I might use a bow at level 50 (if i ever get there) or an xbow, don't know, just depends on what I can buy when I get there. o-o
