Cleric as moneymaker?

My first char was a lvl 18 Full STR Fighter but because I needed money I decided to make a Cleric.

Because a cleric can heal himself its the ideal moneymaker right? Im planning on putting Full STR and Empower the Heal skill first.

I will go solo only because I need all the mats I can get ^_^

Well its easy to solo things with a cleric, BUT..... They kill pretty slowly unless you have a +9 weapon. >_>

Solo cleric may be a money making character since you can heal yourself and all drops are yours to keep or sell but a party cleric uses a lot of stones on buffs and heals.

Also assuming you don't plan to buff everyone who asks.

Yes this char is solo only and only used for material hunting :> aka moneymaker..

Are there any other alternatives for a moneymaking char?

Or maybe a full end fighter tank.. but I need a char for solo

My lvl 18 fighter is strong but he eats too many potions if he goes solo

well, cleric and fighter are pretty costly characters to grind until level 40+. I made a lot of money with my cleric but would almost immediatly lose 90% of it to buy skills xD And not the empowerments or stuff but just the IMPORTANT skills. D:

Once you gain the ability to solo orcs, it's extremely easy to make money.

Especially with T3 scroll materials now selling at 500-700c each...

If you only need low quality materials then use a Mage. They kill fast enough and you'll be spending time on mobs until they are green/grey.

And when you're a Cleric, I suggest buying only 10-15 HP stones for emergency and just stock up on SP cause... well you can Heal yourself.
