Help? I'm looking for a webcam...

I've got an old logitech one, but its crappy and it makes these white noise after i use it for a few mins...

other new logitech ones are expensive! (like $100+?)

I want one with in built mic...

I searched ebay, and there's HEAPS for just $20 or so...

My question:

Anyone knows any cheap webcam they would recommend (< $40ish..)

or know wat i should be looking for (spec-wise), for a good webcam? (fps, resolution, sensor - watever this is?!)

Eh... I'm not a master of webcam-ery. I had a Logitech one a LONG time ago...

It did everything in frames. It looked like you could like teleport around. LOL awesomeness.

It was a Win' 98, btw. Probably more lag then normal. xD

yeah i got blah a logitech one that u can be a shark and all that... the camera on that was great but it was a bit $$$ for my use (i rarely use the video conference.. but when i do need it, the mic on mine stuffs up)

so i'm looking for cheaper alternatives... if there is.. like

My webcam crashes skype when I try run a video conference now though. Not sure if it's my skype crashing my webcam or my webcam crashing skype. And I can't restart skype either cos it doesn't pop up. Have to restart my comp each time. ><"
