Help out a noob?

So I just installed the game for the first time and made a fighter. I was having fun, you know exploring and killing things and then I leveled. As of there I had no idea what to do. So yeah, I need like step by step instructions plz.

Go to Roumen and check if you have any quests. Keep doing those, lvl, get skills, upgrade stats, w/e x3

Well see, that's the thing. idk what to add stats to or what skills to use. I've done a little research and decided to use 2 handed swords and be a damage dealer etc. I dunno if that helps or not :P
