They wouldn't remove old chars, ppl will hate it. I am crazy with Jigglypuff, Marth and Capt. Falcon, if they remove them, I'll be like "wtf nintendo, you suck".
Or they are only showing the ones you don't have to unlock, the ones that you can start with.

But you don't start with all those characters. They have had screenshots up where they show the character select screen and some of the new characters they have listed are not in the character select screen

here is a screenshot of the character select screen and not all of the listed characters are present, meaning they are listing characters you start with and ones that you earn. Which makes me think all the characters they list are all the characters we get D:. This pic is from the official website for the game.

ok, I checked IGN, all old 25 will be there, except for maybe gandoraf, he might not be in it.

ok...then i guess they will be. Could you post the link to the site so I can see where it says all 25 from melee will be comming back, because IGN says this

I can't find where it says characters are returning. That isn't fact..thats all rumors and hope of what will happen. But I bet nintendo is gonna get rid of most of the characters from the previous ones.

the 2nd link have it. There are 10 old char there and plus the others in the site said by rightclaw makes total of 21 old chars, so 4 are gone

All of that is rumors, not from the official website, so you can't take it as fact.
