Ouchie. I think I can understand the feeling. I worked a 12 hour shift and that was one long day....only about 4-5 hours was I actually really busy. But my job requires me to usually always be on my feet....so I don't know if that relates or not.

For some strange reason sitting makes my legs and feet feel worse then standing all day.

hehe that is an easy answer. Humans were designed to walk/run around. Humans are not made to be locked in a small area nor forced to sit. Thaz probably your body telling you "MOVE ME PLEASE!"

I got a nice walk to the train station after work, which is nice. And I can stand and look out of the window or go get coffee.
