This reminds me of some cleric I went GGK hunting with. We were in a party with 2 fighters and 2 clerics (me and her). The first one we killed dropped a cutlas which went into my inventory cause of the seq alo. It had awesome stats, so I could've easily made a lot of money from it, but I'm not like that. Since the fighter that tanked used 1H I gave it to him (the other fighter, who is a friend of mine, uses axes). Then we killed 2 more that didn't drop anything. The 4th we killed dropped a ring and another cutlas, which apparently went into the other clerics inventory. My friend asked who got it, she said she had to go cause her mom was calling her, she scrolled out and left the party. She didn't answer any whispers, she just stole it. I hate people like that D:

Well, the behavior of a thief is just like Vivi's description:
No explanation, no farewell. Maybe they asked for the weapon and you gave it to them, maybe they promised to give it back, but in the end throughout some method they escaped. Basically that's theft, and it's unfair. If you want to see or have something, ask for it first, and talk with your party about it. Choose who gets the weapon >__>"
I think that it's unfair in the situation described, and that he clearly stole it. A lot of times, guilds have nothing to do with the person inside it, sometimes they just see someone and click recruit <___<" But thanks for the warning I guess.

i dont know what you mean by escaped. how were you going to get it from them if they stayed there?
I have no sympathy, possession is 10/10ths of the law in fiesta.

I do have sympathy. If someone stole from you, I bet you would be steaming mad, especially if it was something valuable.
They traded, she gave him the weapon, I don't think he gave her anything in return, accepted trade, and then logged off promptly. There goes a something good, and he didn't say anything I believe. No thank you, no please can I see the weapon. And when the other person asked for it, he logged off and cannot be tracked.
Why don't you post about it if you got stolen that way, eh? Got a really cool something and someone robbed you of it right underneath your nose, and you can't even ask for it back because they logged off and probably left you in the middle of mobs?

I already said I had something worth 40-50s taken and I blame nobody but myself. If i give something to somebody I dont expect it back. people that "give things to people for enhancement" are just asking to be ripped off, and i'm sorry if you let it out of your possession, you no longer have any claim. why cant you accept my view point lightningmystix you seem to be getting a little personal in the last paragraph there plz dont direct you anger here.

I am not getting angry, all I am saying is there IS dishonestment in the person that took the weapon.
There IS fault with yourself for not accepting that you have been robbed because you didn't think better, but I wouldn't go too far as with no sympathy. NO sympathy at all is a little harsh, and as you said you have had that experience before and should be able to relate and give some pointers for next time.
I am saying that some people are full down noobs, not even newbs, for doing this. They rob other people. In a game. What has gone into their head for them to warp their moral? They just go and steal something, a bunch of pixels. There is no need to get upset about it, so there is certainly no need to steal it in the first place.
I am not getting mad at you, and not getting personal. This is how I post. If I have an opinion, I like to debate it and you should be able to debate back. If you think I'm being rude, I'll step down.

its fine for you to take that line, i am just offering my opinion as it is different from the original posters point of view. i kind of see it as you dont need to tell me you think its wrong, i already know the poster thinks i am wrong so that (your) opinion has already been stated.

Then I really have nothing to say to that.
You're just offering your opinion, and I'm just offering mine.

yeah i did feel robbed when it first happened though and angry at the person who just laughed when i asked for it back and ran off. but we learn from our experiances and now i always double check the prices before clicking open vendor. and yes it's very sad when we have to susspect the worste in people isnt it. If i took something and they said they didnt mean for me to keep it i would give it back. But its just not what i can expect from others i'm afraid. But i get to tell myself that maybe i'm better than average, and i'm a nice guy, nicer than everybody else.

I think its just your bad luck and he is not dishonest. Like when i put my kebing pet for 40c instead of 40s, did the person give it back, nope my own damn fault. just suck it up.

Wow o.o I'll never party with you then ;p That really isn't fair play, but meh, the world isn't fair, but still, its respect for fellow players.
