I'm not sure if it makes it go faster since I didn't try to download it the normal way. The one I'm using is Free Download Manager.

The website says it can split it to 600% faster.

but then.. how come mine is 283kb/s? and i just downloaded the same one...

Edit: i put heavy traffic on and now it's around 350 kB/s =D

My straight download dropped to like 80 KB/s so I canceled it and started again with a download manager, Down Them All an addon for Firefox, and its going 700-900+ KB/s again. Unless it drops like the straight download did I'll say it's faster.
