Tasker is a nice app that lets you set simple "If this, then do that" type of rules for your phone to follow. An alternative is IFTTT. I use it to do stuff like; If I plug in earphones, then open Spotify.

Oh the IFTTT sounds like an interesting all..

There's an app called MagicPlan, where you can use the camera on your phone to mark the corners and doorways of a room, and it puts it in an floor plan for you.

Sorry I dun use IFTTT much (at all really)... I only heard that it was a like a lite alternative to Tasker.
