hey I saw you went into the monster pit for the sydney show! just wondering how the sydney organisers let you guys in? did they pick the earliest people and the ones who dressed up? I'm going to the melbourne show and I'm worried that they're gonna stuff it up like brisbane did and only let in people with a certain door number on their ticket into the pit. Thanks

okay so this is what happened at the first sydney show

the first 450 to arrive were given numbered wristbands (1-450) on them which meant they were allowed access into the pit.
the number on your wristband meant nothing but they were given out in order of line up so obviously if you had 1 you’d be at the front of the line, and 450 at the back etc.
this line opened at 8am (we camped out so we were at the front) and at 8 in groups of 10 people were let into the monster pit line up and given bands. here we sat for 9 hours and were allowed breaks to leave for the toilet and food etc.
at about 5pm everyone was standing up and getting ready to go into the next set of barricades. by 5:30 they opened these gates and this was a bloodbath
everyone running to the ticket machine to get it scanned, then from there running to the next set of barricades to sit down and wait. here i was separated from my friends and got into a few fights but when everyone stood up about an hour later i managed to pull them through to me.
once these gates were open everyone ran to the final set of line up down next to the pit. we stayed here until 7:30 and from here everyone ran to the pit and had to hold up our arms to show the band as we ran in
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE FRONT BARRIER OR BACK OF MONSTER PIT it gets you the closest to gaga. the pit is actually a pit and is inside a circle created and the circle itself is a stage in which she walks around and perform on during the show.

it isn’t as unorganised as the brisbane show, melbourne may be different to sydney, but it wasn’t the security who chose who got in first it was really determined by people pushing in and stuff.

your outfit has no effect if you get in 450 who get wristbands, but at this show, the pit had sooo much room left, so they started to let in a few people from the GA standing area based on how good their costumes were. so if you are scared you wont be in the top 450 then wear an amazing costume!

also, at the sydney show the 450th wristband got given out at about 2:30pm. so that’s just telling you how long it took for the 450 to be all gone by, so i highly recommend you get there before that time, or before 8am if you want the front/first choice in pit.

Oh, do you guys weren't exclusive enough! Still sounds like you got pretty good seats though. If you guys were lucky you would have seen her out in the streets! I think she went to luna park, whatever that is.

we didn't sit, we had to staaaaaaaand LOL *everyone shoving* these guys with glowing bows on their heads were behind us at the start of the concert, and then somehow ended up in front of us at the end of the concert!

and we can't camp out for her cos we have wooooooooooooooorkkkkkkkkk. she prob explored during the day T_T

It was Sunday......... But I think we were in a pretty good spot anyway without the 12 hour wait..

Yeah those Asian guys with glowing bows are annoying... specially when one of them is so tall.. one of the poor girl was in front of them then they were in front of her and she couldn't see anything.. but they guys managed to shift their way to the left so the girl can see again..

Oh, I've already watch a lot of them online lool. It's going to be a different experience when it's seen live though! Yes, I'm hoping I'd get to see her when she comes to the U.S. I want to be in the pit like you guys! Standing and jumping for 2-3 hours sounds pretty tiring though.

I don't think you'll have a problem because you're young.. LOL

Yeah. I think its because she started and ended in us last tour. So shes giving other areas some more love this time. Or she just wants to work out the quirks and have the us tour be perfect>. Her next album might come out before she comes to the states so I'm wondering how that would work out if it does.
