I made my archer a nearly 1:1 DEX:SPR build with maybe a little bit more SPR but I had 2 +7 DEX rings to make up for it; I really like how he's turning out. Crits rock and come frequently and my evasion is high.

I prefer SPR to STR because it adds damage due to crits and it also adds M. Defense and SP. The damage may not be as consistent as from STR but that's all STR does for you. And I chose DEX over END because END doesn't really add all that much HP and it's just cooler to dodge than take a hit even if your defense is better. I'm also thinking about a END:SPR combo, though.

I might make one and focus on STR just to see how it does compared to the one I have now, but I have a feeling the damage won't be that much more impressive, especially if you hardly ever crit with skills or normal attacks. I'd also like to try a crit build because I have a feeling it could be pretty badass.
