Ehh. Those companies paid for their product to be in there. Why not let them? ;o

I'm just wondering about the motivation of it. So far, everything I've seen about GaGa has basically been one big piece of performance art. I find it hard to think that's it's just straight-up product placement. I might be projecting, but I would imagine it's a commentary on how pervasive product-placement is and how distracting it is...but I could be wrong.

I'm a detail-orientated person when it comes to things like this. Well, up to a point. Things that are overly dense with motifs and iconography (like a lot of Kubrick's stuff) tend to irritate me a bit, though. It's just wankery for the sake of wankery. That's probably a discussion for another time, though, heh.

Really? They were almost pointedly obvious. Maybe they don't have a brand awareness in Australia. Miracle Whip, Wonderbread, Virgin Mobile, and PlentyofFish.com were the ones that spring to mind without review it again.

Lady Gaga is known to have lots of product placement. She did tons of it in the Bad Romance video. Wii Nunchuk, earphones that she loved (which were also in the Telephone MV) laptops, expensive ass stereo... and yeah :P

Alleena we should work together on getting seats next to each other (depending on prices..because I do want front-rowish seats if I can manage it and I am willing to pay out the ass for them."
See? XD

I would LOVE to get meet and greet, but don't think I can get them. I'm going to try to get the best seats possible.

Some of them are endorsements, others are american hallmarks. Virgin Mobile is sponsoring her monster ball tour, plentyoffish payed to be in there, miracle whip I think was paid..maybe, wonderbread was her idea and so were the diet cola drinks. Those are all American hallamarks which is why she chose them to be into the video. I don't remember exactly why she put those in her videos, but they have a meaning.
