need the awsner so i can get bonus marks for my project =D

10*1.61 First to get 10 kilometres in miles, [16.1 miles]
Then Convert 43.5 minutes into hours [Work it out yourself]
Then using the rule that Speed = Distance over time to figure out mph.

Not sure how to answer the first part of the question though.

The first part of the question is just asking them to open up a maths program...

^ It should be the other way around..

10km / 1.61 = 6.21 miles

43 mins 30 sec = 2610 secs

2610 secs / 6.21 miles = 420 secs (7 mins) per mile

Average miles per hr = 60 / 7 (how many miles you get in an hr if it takes you 7 mins to do 1 mile) = 8.57 miles/hr

but you need to do it in your program and send him a screenshot...
