Getting to 20 from level 3 was fairly easy. Took about ten hours and I wasn't really going at it very hard. Make sure you get into the KQs and it's a breeze.
On a side note, I'm at 20, finished the Shadow Dungeon, and have my NPC gear. It's parked and ready to go if we ever decide to do it.
