I just saw this thread and WOW
So many things wrong...
For one this guy is mainly talking on a 1v1 basis...But guild wars are usually NEVER in ths case...
Clerics used to be overpowered in cb1 but nowadays after taking a few clubbings from the nerf stick their not too hard to kill with a few others in PVP. You never take a cleric 1v1 thats just stupid... But clerics are VIRTUALLY useless against the ranged classes because of hit and run. They HAVE NO STUN therefore no ability to keep thier target still so they can hit it. Archer's will be hard for the cleric because of the cleric's HOPELESSLY LOW aim. Mages will just churn the cleric's SP out..
Fighters are okay, 1handed shilders are nothing more then distractions but spr str axe fighters with a couple of skill crits can crack down anything. 2 figthers with proper timing together can stun lock a cleric making him virtually useless for most of the time.
Archers are virtually useless for the first few couple of levels but once they get thier stackable poisons they become more powerful. It would be NICE though to see the SUPPOSED archer traps..
mages...are kinda like archers early in the beginning but grow in use with thier variety of powers. They can do more then just fire off flaming turds of doom IE slowing fighters, draining mana, Aoeing, removing curses...
IMO most of the classes balanced for the time being..
