I think when I was younger I had a similar problem... back in the Dial up age where internet cost you by the minute (=.=) I only get 1 hr on the internet a day...
But since no one had cable back then, it didn't seem like a problem to me...
My problem was that all my friends started going out with their frds to watch movies, and take sticker photos and all that and I wasn't allowed to go coz "it's too dangerous"... I think I was 16 when I was allowed to go out with my frds, and even so I was restricted to certain streets coz it's "dangerous"...
Byt anyway... Regarding when your mum would let you grow up... my mum loosen up on what once I started Uni... it was kinda obvious that they want us to concentrate more on studying for our Uni Entry Exam and once that was over, all hell broke loose LOL (No I'm not a rebel... xD)
