Unless you've got some really decent cash shop extenders, charms, +9 gears, its very rare for a lvl 49 mage to not die by the Mini Dragon jump....

Actually, running back to the starting point is a bad idea... people cant help take the aggro off you (coz they'll be too far away), and no one can do dmg on the dragon, and you waste time, so next time just run in a big circle around the ends...

if you die hopefully a cleric would revive you.. but running to the starting point is a no-no...

I'm kinda a tanking mage... my gears are END based and 3 out of 4 are generally +9s (saved up and bought them..) then I put in the highest tier scroll you could use, I can tank quite a bit if mobs for AOE pretty well...

for MD and KKP, you'll need magic defence scrolls too...
