and the windows key works!
but i dont get the menu, but i dont mind
all i have to do is double click it and no more task bar

you have to press the buttons to see that menu

And hide your icons the way iced said
Right click on desktop>arrange icons by> uncheck show icons

also, can you guys spot the difference?(nothing to do with your thingxD)

okay, well you should put the word thingy aside, so uncheck it, we'll start with the easy stuff.
First off, your desktop is probably plain, you should probably get a callender, date, time, etc. Make it look cooler.

You dont have to have everything. I only have the sidebar,callender, and time from it.
And you should get a new background, total desktop makeoverxD

Am I the only one that had that emerge desktop work? Lol

Enigma works nicely and is easy to edit IMO.
Might want to get a wallpaper with some white space (open space) so that your calendars and what not aren't blocked/hard to spot.

Oh yeah, Launchy is a good app. It works just like Vista's search in the Start menu. So it's nice to have if you plan on getting rid of task bar.

The one thing that bugs me about the date/time thing I have is the kerning... so ugly.
