stop being a total idiot, call them names too but not stupid names, swear word names, and if they laugh, say "f*ck you" but dont do it in anger do it with a smile, always makes them shut the f*ck up

So I may be stating stuff that has already been stated but ohhh well.

What is funny is that this sort of thing has gone on forever, and unfortunately it does happen when you get older. A wise man once said that you can not lean on your own understanding. What this really means is that no matter how hard you try you can not understand the human nature that exists in all of us.

They pick on you because they get a reaction from you that they can either laugh at or make fun of, which makes them feel big. You go to your teacher that looks at you like Hrae has and says man up it’s a wiffle ball. She is indifferent to the situation.

The problem here is that you are trying to use your own understanding to make sense of a situation that is being run by human nature which really can’t be understood.

You may or may not be able to get them to stop. You could confront them verbally and ask them to leave you alone, which in my experience leads to more teasing. You could confront them with violence like a gun (aka Columbine) which would be sad for you and them. You could ignore them giving them no reaction at all, which could cause them to get bored with teasing someone who doesn’t have a reaction.

But you must learn that what most people in the world care about in the world are themselves. They want to feel big, important, powerful, intelligent and beautiful. And they will do anything to feel that way, usually at the expense of someone else’s feelings.

I’ve seen people that will put others down for what they wear, how they look, what they believe, political affiliation, social affiliations, and their favorite sports teams. The people doing this are supposedly intelligent adults who don’t need outside affirmation.

You will have to learn what situations you need to stand up and fight for and which ones need to be ignored. It took me way too long to learn this and I hope you will be able to learn to cope with bullies and indifferent people. Because you can still live a wonderful life even with bullies in the world as long as you don’t let them control you. Sometimes you just have to let things go and not lean on your own understanding.
