Vitality decreases defense for a gain of strength, it doesn't have anything to do with healing. Vampiric Strike, on the other hand, is about as close to a healing skill as Fighters get (unless there are some new skills in the very upper ranges I'm not aware of, and it's not guaranteed Outspark will implement them if they exist).

Oh really? They shouldnt have called it vitality then. I assumed it increased your max hp by a certain amount. /neverplayedafighter.

My vampiric strike heals less than 20% of my total HP when I have a cleric buff. It might be a bit more useful for solo, but when I have a cleric I find that my cleric casts heal right when I use vampiric strike most of the time, so I only end up healing like 100 HP with VS. xD
And when you use it as a final hit to kill something, you don't get the healing bonus at all. :/

Yeah, Vampiric Strike really is a joke. Even as a mainly soloer, it doesn't really do a damn thing. It's a little bit of extra damage from time to time. Yawn.
