For example, CS2 was known to act up on Vista.

Aw no!

I never have a set time. Every time I finish with one "part" of whatever I'm working on, I save. I think I sometimes save like, every few minutes.

That's why I was stressing out so much when I was workin on my big A2 poster in photoshop for art class. Because it took 5 minutes to just save, I couldn't exactly save as much as I want to, so I was like "yoooooooo betta not stuff upppp!" and every time when something lags I get a panic attack.

I don't think so, because it's a really big file and my computer is too slow to comprehend it. T__T" If it does make it faster, I don't imagine it'll become instant anyway

Seems like there would be some sort of optional auto-save feature. I know it'd slow things down when activated, but as long as it's optional, I think it'd work well enough.
