It is normal, I even grow from lvl 7 50% to lvl 11 96% in my first ever kingdom quest

Is there any point in doing the other general quests once you're that level? I got about 5 levels from 2 KQ's last night, and also struggled to do the general quests from NPC's. But is there any point?
