Check this site for better quality renders: Planet Renders.

You'll need to sign up and save the .png file and then open it up with photoshop to use, etc. Don't double click on the image... might open up too many windows. :3

If you do have to use a low quality image then a quick and easy way to make it smooth is to: duplicate the image then on the top image goto filter>Blur>Guassian Blur set it to about 3.0 or so then goto overlay then you are done. Thats how i give the *shine* to alot of the sigs I do..but it may make some areas too brite so just take a 60x chalk brush on 100% opacity and erase the bright areas OR you can take black 60x chalk brush and go over the bright areas and set the layer to overlay. Its the same for brightening up dark spots but use a white 60x chalk brush for that.

I think the problem is with the resizing.


I did get the render from PlanetRenders and the quality gradually devolved until it ended up with that. Thanks for the help.
