Solving The Infamous FIESTA.BIN Error Under Vista 64

Hi FIESTEROS (Party People):

I recently found a solution to the infamous FIESTA.BIN problem when running Fiesta on Windows Vista 64bits. Be aware that this solution is only for that OS in particular since I am not (and never will be) user of Windows Vista 32bits. Follow the steps below and you are ready to play it:

(This instruction applies when Windows Vista is configured in default scheme)

1. Press START > CONTROL PANEL
2. Select PROGRAMS
3. In PROGRAMS AND FEATURES press VIEW INSTALLED UPDATES
4. In the UNINSTALL AN UPDATE list verify if there is a WINDOWS VISTA 64 SERVICE PACK 1.
5. If step 4 is positive select WINDOWS VISTA 64 SERVICE PACK 1 and press UNINSTALL in the upper bar (ORGANIZE / VIEWS / UNINSTALL)

I installed the darn SP1 for Vista 64 and Fiesta started to gave me problems with the FIESTA.BIN file. Once removed, the game started to run smoothly as usual. I think that some libraries in this SP1 overwrite essential libraries that Fiesta needs as resources and is affecting the game. Let me know if this was your case and if the solution worth the time that took me to write it.
