Yes, i realize the regular apples come from trees, but maybe for this special quest the mobs are gonna drop them.... otherwise there is gonna be a lot of ksing of the trees with people who have harvesting packs versus the ones that don't. Not to mention it would be easier to just let the mobs drop them since there are a lot more mobs than trees and as much harvesting as I have done, the trees in the higher level areas don't drop apples.

It's supposed to be from mobs... that's what the quest description said. :3 It would suck if it wasn't for the reasons you stated though I have been collecting Apples every chance I get. :P
