I can confirm that. xD Up until CP you can kill most mobs before they even reach you because of the stun/entangle skills.
Even without those skills and evasion rate I found soloing with my Archer pretty good. I've soloed with a Cleric once too but it was definitely slow. With my Archer I can go about an hour of non-stop grind with just stones, with the stone extender thing I can go twice as long. :P And cost-wise... wasn't too bad, you'll be making profit in most cases so as long as you're going against mobs your level. Plus, because Archers don't have a lot of skills... you can save up before you buy the next set which was always nice. I save more money on my Archer than my Cleric... gained that first 100s faster.
