I've gotten a few +3 hammers, and one +4 mace from Robo. Two pairs of earrings, when we actually killed robo himself.
Of course, he also gives armor.. that's a few levels below what you actually want. By a few levels, I mean by the time I got it, I was on to the next set of pants.
