Short events are... In my opinion, stupid.
Today's event screwed up the Elderine Map and probably the Forest of Mist map. Some GM summoned like 20 Giant Phinoflies and a King Kong Phino in town. I couldn't even move. When i tried to Shift + Z, i got killed by the Giant Phinoflies.
An hour later, I try to go ingame with my Cleric (Which is in Elderine), and it says that the map is under maintenance. I then tried to go ingame with my other cleric (Which is in Roumen), and I could connect fine. My only conclusion was that the massive spawning of giant monsters screwed up Elderine.
I prefer more professional events, the long term ones. So far, the only long term event I've seen on Fiesta is the "exp boost" events... Which isn't very creative at all. Although I'm not complaining about the good exp
