Tbh with you mate your trying far too much, str on equipment is pointless it = 1dmg point per 1 stat... its so minimal. Also your build, end lowers its increase at 50 and dex at 33. Spr would be better pumping 50 into it if you want to tank and if you don't want to tank then its basically pointless unless the 5% crit is that important to you.
1h+Shield fine for tanking or if you have a pure str build otherwise your damage will be minimal.
If you've got dex gears and dex build your far better off using a axe as your dex makes up for aim lost between axe and 2h.
