Don't forget the main tank Devastate too, reason dmg (which u mentioned) and to get aggro, so if the dd used it s/he may get aggroed, which is bad, because it gets the monsters out of inferno/magic plast/frost nova (mage aoe attacks circle)
besides one half aoe attack isn't so usefull besides the mages aoe's.
