Closest I ever came was long ago on my archer. We only had 2 of the little shadow honeyings left when time ran out. This was back in "the old days" before all the charms, extenders, purples and few people had +9's.
I thought that with all the extra cash shop stuff these days, and with many more having uber gear and scrolls; that the KQ would be easier. But alas stupididty seems to have grown in direct proportin to the increase in charms, extenders and uber gear to compensate.
My mage is lv 50 now and still hasn't come close to winning one. despite many, many tries. My cleric is in the lower 40's and has only tried a few. Usually only go in at lower level on those that look like they won't get the full 10 participants and try to convince people to stay and work on quests. (most suiside out anyway)
*sigh* Someday I'd like to win one.
