[Senyx The Soulless one]

The sun was set high in the sky, A reminder of just WHAT Serum had gotten himself into.

A while back, Some royal or another had complained that somethinig or another, blah blah blah, And here Serum was, Part of a 10-man team patrolling Goblin Wastelands looking to rescue some royal princess or another.

As most stories go, The main character had a "Sunny" disposition and preferred to keep to himself, usually practicing combat in his free time, But since he joined the Elderine's royal scout Legion, He has had less and less time for it.

It had been 3 years since the gods of Isya had granted the heroes access into this beloved continent, And it had been 3 years since Serum had been even close to happy with anything, After the whole "Crimson is the Head of Trans World Operations" Monsters have been getting smarter and stronger, Heroes have been becoming fewer.

So as Serum looked up into the sky, Hoping for a breeze, He wiped a drop of sweat from his forehead, Moving his matted long hair out of the way.

"You know, You can quit the Legion, If you hate it so much, kid" Said Edrem, a hardened veteran of the Legion, He was missing several fingers due to a Tomb fox infestation in an earlier mission.
"If i did, I'd have nothing else to do" Said Serum, Wistfully. As he kicked a rock off the edge of a cliff.

"Well then, Focus on this misison and we can get back to town, I'm sick of this heat, Why can't we get any BEACH missions anymore? Geez!" Edrem said disdainfully,

"Beach missions are for lower ranks with less combat experience, You know that" Said one of the lesser-ranked scouts,

"Maybe we'll get lucky and find this old lady before the Goblins eat her, Maybe not," he said, With a slight frown on his face,

As they squad walked, they saw more and more legions doing their own seperate jobs, Or perhaps just people out training, After all, The goblins reproduced so quickly, And no one passed up a chance to practice combat.
