If you think you're lacking in the damage department just use rings to make up for it. Two STR rings of your level should be more than enough to help you out. I say with whatever build if you can afford it go get two of each STR, END, and DEX and wear them according to where you are training.
I've gone full SPR til 25 and now going full DEX and it's working out quite nicely and it's helping me out with the low accuracy of a Crossbow.
