Does anyone still have dial-up?

I teach at a small private college that caters to some of our more socio-economically challenged, and many of them do not have Internet, or only have dial-up. They do things like leech off a neighbors wireless, go to the public library, go to a place with free wireless hotspots (like Panera Bread), or come down town and mooch off the business' free wifi (provided as a public service, so i guess its not mooching)

uhm...besides that I think my grandmother had wireless

actually.. I'm working for a commercial company that has a sister charity, and our charity's aim is to give new books to children to in disadvantaged communities....

some of the kids on the programme doesnt even have books.. let alone a computer to leech internet off

well.. some of these kids dont even have shoes so.... dial up is a luxury! haha
