I am a runner, I am only 5'8 and I run around 5 minute flat for a mile and there are runners that's like 5'2(my teammate and runners from other school), that runs like 10 seconds faster than me.
5'2 is short.
Taller people are mostly slower, taller people use more energy to move because of their lengthy bodies. Shorter people use less energy to move from their shorter bodies and can express out their energy in a burst, giving them a strong sprint to the finish. Tall people will sprint slower from their lengthy body and use of energy.
Also there's no "right amount" of muscle, everyone have the same number of muscles.
