I spent a day at xCaret Park near Playa del Carmen on the Yucatan Peninsula and it was beautiful. I kinda lumped Playa del Carmen in with Cozumel so there wouldn't be three Mexicos listed.  Maybe I should have said Yucatan Peninsula instead of specifically Cozumel.
I would like to go back and spend a couple of days heading out to some of the ruins. I was following the reports on Hurricane Dean and was relieved to read that while there were flooded streets and toppled trees that the damages were considered "light" for a hurricane of that magnatude. So yeah, I'd like to go back and jeep out to the ruins.
