This individual was trying to persuade me to sell for 1g.

Someone else, from his guild actually, bought it at 2.5g. Technically 1.3g and a level 70 wand, but that wand later sold for 1.35g.

Just saying how they try to buy low, using a personal experience to explain what it was really worth.
